After more than 500 days of war between Russia and Ukrainethis Tuesday, the vice president of the Russian Security Council, Dmitri Medvedev warned that “the Third World war“. The official reiterated this presumption from the preliminary results of the NATO Summit which will continue tomorrow.
“The West, completely crazy, could not think of anything else. Predictability at the highest level, to the point of idiocy. It is a dead end. World War III is coming“, noted Medvedev. He added that this means that “the military operation will continue with the same objectives“, one of which “is to prevent the Ukrainian Nazi group joins NATO“.
In his Telegram account, he also assured that Russia will use cluster bombs -those that the United States threatened to use- to reinforce the resistance of Ukraine. The warning comes in response to an alleged Ukrainian attack on the town of Tokmak in the Zaporizhia region, which pro-Russians say was carried out with cluster munitions.
“It was reported that Tokmak was bombarded with cluster munitions. Therefore, it is time to discover our arsenals of these inhuman weapons“, Medvedev wrote on Telegram.
NATO Summit: Zelenski will meet with Biden tomorrow
Regarding the development of the NATO summittomorrow the president of United States, Joe Bidenwill meet his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelensky in Vilnius, Lithuania.
After the meeting, he will give a speech at the University of the Lithuanian capital at 7:45 p.m. (4:45 p.m. GMT), the White House reported today.
The objectives of the NATO Summit in Lithuania
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) today one two day summit in which he intends to define a path and offer a “clear message” to Ukraine about his adherence to the transatlantic military alliance, as well as the income of Sweden.
“We are going to send a clear message, a positive message, about the road ahead of us,” said the secretary general of the NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
