From now on there are free pocket ashtrays to take away and reuse in the Braunau outdoor pool. The “pocket cup” from the environmental professionals Braunau is made from recycled PET bottles and offers a practical solution for disposing of cigarette butts – nobody wants to see them on the lawn in the outdoor pool. Cigarette butts are not only unattractive to look at, they are also harmful to the environment: the 4,800 chemicals they contain get into the groundwater with the rain. The free pocket ashtrays are available in the entrance area of the outdoor pool in Braunau. They can also be picked up at the district waste association (Industriezeile 32a) – also free of charge. Because nobody likes to see the Tchicksummel along the sidewalk either.
