Traditional costume music and hit pop in pink in the Kurpark Aspach

Anton Pointecker founded the Aspacher Dorfmusik in 1863 in the “Solingerhaus” Wildenau with nine music-loving men. 160 years later, the house name “Solingen” still stands for traditional music, which is still played by the current 59 musicians. The anniversary will be celebrated at the weekend with a concert and Melissa Naschenweng, the high-flyer from the Carinthian Lesachtal in pink lederhosen and with a pink harmonica. These two concerts in the Kurpark Aspach are the highlights of the celebration weekend in Aspach. The open-air concert of the 1st Innviertler Trachtenmusikkapelle takes place on Sunday, July 16 at 7 p.m., the young musicians can already be heard at 6.30 p.m. In the first half of the program, modern pieces of music can be heard, after the break the focus is on “original Solingen music”, announces conductor Andreas Grechner. The anniversary concert will be moderated by Dominik Göbl, who is known to many from the program “Wirtshausmusikanten bei Hirzinger” on Bavarian Radio and “Ein Bayer in Oberösterreich”. In the event of bad weather, the concert will take place in the event center in Danzer.

Melissa Naschenweng enjoys her performance in the Innviertel a week later, on Saturday, July 22nd. The celebrated hit star is making a stop in the Kurpark as part of his current tour.
