From July 29th, a new bus connection will take bathers twice a day from the main train station in Linz to the bathing lakes in Feldkirch and back again. The route of the new line L 201 will lead via Urfahr, Puchenau, Ottensheim and Goldwörth. The journey to the bathing lakes should also become more attractive for the people of Feldkirch and the surrounding communities, which is why there should be two additional trips between the Feldkirchen school and the bathing lake for local traffic. In Feldkirchen Schule, these buses have good connections to and from Bad Mühllacken, Aschach an der Donau and Eferding.
Relief for roads, nerves and climate
The new bus connection is intended to relieve the strain on roads, nerves and the climate. It will be run by the market town of Feldkirchen an der Donau and the Upper Austrian transport association as a trial run until the end of the summer holidays. “We are successively implementing the findings of the mobility workshop and are focusing on clean mobility,” says Mayor David Allerstorfer (SP), pleased about the successful project and the partnership implementation.
