Its 54-year-old driver and the 51-year-old passenger and the accident driver were injured in the collision and taken to the Steyr Clinic. Both vehicles were totaled, police said.

The accident happened just before 5 p.m. The 32-year-old from Lower Austria came with his car on the B121 from Weyer in the direction of Gaflenz in a long right-hand bend for an unknown reason. As a result, the alcohol driver drove his car over the blocked line there in the signposted no-overtaking zone and crashed into the car coming from Gaflenz. The B121 was difficult to pass during the entire accident investigation and road cleaning.
