Moscow had not recently commented on reports of an alleged agreement, and Russian President Vladimir Putin again set conditions for an extension.
The agreement was signed in July last year after a month-long blockade of Ukrainian grain exports, mediated by the UN and Turkey. Putin still doesn’t see the agreed framework as fulfilled, as he said at the weekend, “not one”. Above all, Moscow criticized that an agreement that Russia was allowed to export food and fertilizer despite sanctions was not being fulfilled. If there is no agreement at the last minute, it is possible that the agreement will be suspended until Russia sees its demands met, it said on Sunday. Meanwhile, the UN and most recently Turkey are trying to convince Putin.
