Message in a bottle found on Lake Garda after eleven years
A message in a bottle from a German couple on vacation on Lake Garda has reappeared after eleven years in the water of the lake. The find was made on the shore of one of the beaches of Malcesine, a town on the western side of Lake Garda. The letter is dated August 9, 2012, is handwritten and signed by Sabrina and Dennis, a married couple from Hamburg-Verona. “Dear Lake Garda, with this message in a bottle we wish our families, our friends and ourselves that we always stay happy and healthy. Dear Lake Garda, stay as beautiful and clear as you are today,” it says in German. The municipal administration of Malcesine, which published the message today, has launched an appeal to find Sabrina and Dennis, Italian news agency ANSA reports. The aim is to invite the couple to Malcesine.
