The 2Raum has started to implement an upscale restaurant concept. According to the bankruptcy filing, the high interest rate and rising energy and food prices caused payment difficulties for the company. There were other problems, such as a lack of staff and the absence of consumers who no longer frequented expensive restaurants as usual. Book values of around EUR 530,000 are offset by outstanding amounts of around EUR 730,000.
Debt financing failed
The shareholders of “2Raum PlusCity Gastro GmbH” had granted a total of 160,000 euros in company loans, external financing failed due to the rise in interest rates. The company on Bethlehemstraße in Linz is not affected by the insolvency.
