Falero, indicated that the construction is expected to be completed before December 24 and the testing and signaling stage can begin, in order to enable, a couple of months later, next year the operation of the freight train will begin.

The head of the MTOP indicated that at that time of the year it should be “the finished track”and explained that “it is going to take a couple more months to put everything into operation, security, signage, to have the guarantees of a safe route.”

“In the first months” the railway should already be in circulation, said Falero, who added that “the operators must still be trained in what fundamentally concerns signaling.” On the other hand, he indicated that once the train works, it will be possible to solve the existing overload problem in the route 5.

How is the Central Railway project?
