After a police officer from Bavaria saw a visitor with a publicly visible tattoo at the Braunau outdoor pool and reported it to the police, the case is now with the public prosecutor’s office in Ried im Innkreis. Prosecutor Alois Ebner told OÖN yesterday that it was being investigated for violations of the prohibition law. There is a first verbal report from the Braunau police.
As reported, the alarmed police officers are said to have moved out to the outdoor pool, but then did not enter the area, but waited outside for “operational tactical reasons”, as it was said. Allegedly, the wanted man’s tattoos showed runes and the inscription “Blood and Honour”. The behavior of the police officers will be examined in a disciplinary procedure, according to the state police department. Prosecutor Ebner said yesterday that he was not aware of any criminal charges against the officials.
