“Since January, around 19 kilograms of CDs and DVDs have been collected in just six months, which corresponds to a weight of around 1,300 “silver discs”. My thanks go to the customers of the city library for their diligent participation, because in doing so they contribute to environmental protection,” says the responsible city councilor Eva Schobesberger (Greens).
Action continues
In the Knowledge Tower foyer there is the possibility to dispose of discs, sleeves and paper in three waste bins. The important recyclable material is sent for recycling. The action continues. CDs and DVDs can still be thrown into the disc container in the foyer of the Knowledge Tower during opening hours.
