Theaters and concert halls know the dilemma: their audience is loyal, but is getting older and older. Generating young people for theatre, opera or dance is a difficult undertaking. This is exactly where the U30 offer of the culture subscription of the OÖ Nachrichten in cooperation with the Landestheater Linz, Brucknerhaus, Posthof and Theater Phönix comes in.
Anyone under the age of 30 can choose five dates from a total of 13 events – at the unbeatable price of 49 euros. The offer is mixed and matched.
For example: a concert by the legendary vocal ensemble Manhattan Transfer (“I Love Coffee I Love Tea”) on November 14th in the Brucknerhaus, the musical “School of Rock” on October 22nd in the Musiktheater, a concert by the avant-garde duo “Blixa Geld and Teho Teardo” on November 24th in the Posthof, a cabaret evening there in April 2024 and a performance of Edmond Rostand’s theater classic “Cyrano de Bergerac” in the Phönix Theater would normally cost a total of more than 200 euros – with the U30 offer of the OÖN culture subscription these five top-class and different events can be enjoyed for a one-time special price of 49 euros.

“We are pleased that the Brucknerhaus and the Posthof are part of this beautiful campaign. You simply experience more with the OÖN culture subscription,” says the artistic director of LIVA, Dietmar Kerschbaum. This year, the Brucknerhaus is organizing both “U30” and the “Big Subscription”. This includes a total of 13 appointments in the four partner houses at a price of 442 euros.
