The 24-year-old and his girlfriend were tied up by several perpetrators and threatened with a gun, French media reported on Friday, citing police sources. The burglars are said to have stolen jewels, watches and other luxury goods worth 500,000 euros.
Donnarumma’s girlfriend Alessia Elefante was unharmed, and the couple was released after treatment at a hospital. Donnarumma isn’t the first PSG player to be the victim of a robbery.
In January, two men were sentenced to prison for breaking into the home of Brazilian defense lawyer Marquinhos in March 2021. At the time of the burglary, his two daughters and his father were in the property.
