The Ministry of Economy published its weekly report with the tax exemption included and its comparison.
Last month the exoneration of Value Added Tax (VAT) in bottled water, from there, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) published a comparison report between the periods before and after the decree in relation to the estimates.

This Friday the MEF published the price comparison between last month and the current one, taking into account the tax exemption that the drop in bottled water prices would mean. With the estimated price from June 15 to June 21, when the prices still included VAT, a reduction of up to 7.7% more than estimated.


In reference to the different brands, for the Matutina without gas of 2.5 liters a price of $39.7 was expected, while the last week the value was $37.3. What refers to the Vitale without gas of 2.5 liters, it was the only one that got a higher price than estimated since a value of $46.1 was expected and the end was $49.
For its part, for the 2.25-liter Salus still water, a price of $53.6 was expected and the final price was $51.4. The 6.25-liter Salus drum was the one with the greatest price reduction since it was estimated $96.7 and $89.2 was obtained. The only one that maintained its value was the Nativa drum of 6 liters per $84.4.
Regarding supermarkets, in most there were discounts of up to 33.3% compared to the values of the first report, except in Macro where an increase of 3.6% of the 6-liter water can was observed compared to the previous week from the 10th to the 14th of this month.

As for the 2 liter bottled water, the only one that had an increase of 11.1% compared to the previous week was Diskwhile a value reduction of up to 30.2% compared to the first publication of the report.
