As the organizer of a number of demos and “garden parties” in the Linz area, a Corona activist had repeatedly made headlines in the past two years. Now the 39-year-old has once again been targeted by the investigators – not in connection with compulsory corona vaccination and violations of the prohibition law, but because a body was found in his car.
Three kids in the car
On the evening of July 23, the man is on Kremstalstrasse (B139) in Ansfelden at the local Monsoon too been stopped for a routine traffic check. His three children aged 15, 11 and five were also in the car. “I know I’m wanted. I don’t have a driver’s license and I have a body in the trunk,” said the driver as he got out of the car.
No outside influence
When police checked the blue Mazda, they made the horrific discovery. In the trunk of the car there was indeed a woman’s body wrapped in sheets. The dead is the wife (38) of the driver. According to the first findings, she had died a few hours earlier of natural causes – as a result of untreated cancer.
39-year-old in custody
The 39-year-old is in custody, the police reported at a press conference on Monday afternoon. There is a risk of escaping and committing a crime. The three children were taken to their grandparents. The body of the 38-year-old woman will be autopsied on Tuesday.
The Upper Austrian police have been reporting on the investigation since 4 p.m. The OÖN are on site, wfurther information will follow shortly.
