As reported, the French have already made an offer in the double-digit millions for the Japanese team player at Linz. The deal is not yet through – which indicates that either the LASK desired sum has not yet been reached or that other clubs are involved. “We haven’t reached an agreement with the club yet,” confirms Letang. LASK sports director Radovan Vujanovic could only be elicited when asked by OÖN: “Negotiations are ongoing.”
In any case, it’s not a mistake if LASK doesn’t immediately accept the first offer that comes along, because: In countries like Germany or England, the transfer market for players like Nakamura only picks up speed when one or the other club receives cancellations from the top players. The competition stimulates the business – and probably also increases the transfer fee.
