Among these critical points that Arim notes are the lack of resources to attend to the ratio of hours between teachers and studentswhich indicates that it suffered a “deterioration” in recent times, due to “the good news of the increase in enrollment.”
In turn, it will strengthen the scholarship category from Udelar where there are difficulties, especially on the north coast of the country, where the applications for them have been greatly exceeding the university offer.
In this regard, he recalled that resources in the order of 60 million pesos were assigned to the interior of the countrya fund that “will surely come out of Parliament with some focus linked to the southwest and east of the country.”
According to Arim, this “would be complemented by a significant increase to incorporate the Hospital of Clinicsthe Faculty of Psychology, and the Faculty of Social Sciences in a joint project of the mental health program that was established by the Executive Power”.
Arbeleche: Udelar has a “very large” budget
