The government announced the opening of the international tender for the construction of a luxury hotel and private casino in paysandua work that will have an impact on the generation of employment in that coastal department.

Viera explained that the call foresees the construction of a five star hotel and the concession, for a term of 20 years, for a private casino. The work must begin within a period not exceeding 6 months from the award and must not extend for more than 36 months, that is, 3 years.
The hotel must include a minimum of 80 rooms, a convention room, restaurants and commercial premises. The call will end on October 3.
According to current regulations, the permit for this type of establishment must be granted by public call.
For the authorities, the initiative represents a significant investment for the department in a critical context that is expanding along the entire coast and that mainly affects businesses in the area due to the exchange difference with Argentina and the exodus of internal consumption to the other side of the border.
