Álvaro Rodríguez Hunter wants the money to buy the land to come out of the National Institute of Colonization.
The deputy of National Party (PN), Alvaro Rodriguez Hunterpresented a bill for the State to expropriate the fields adjoining the Casupá streamin Florida and lavallejain order to build a dam.
In this line, the legislator seeks that the money for the purchase of the land come out of the National Institute of Colonization (INC.). Rodriguez Hunter, He explained that the expropriation process had already been started and that the State had already delivered some 300,000 dollars.
However, he assures that a balance of 2.49 million dollars remains to be financed to finish concretizing the construction of a dam through a conjunction between the INC, the SBIand the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP).
“I think it will be possible to carry out and it is a qualitative leap from every point of view,” the deputy assured Telemundo, adding that “if the dam is not made, it remains as a source of food for cattle, and once it is build the dam that money goes back to the INC, which guarantees the very end of colonization”.
