Police officers checked heavy traffic in Vöcklamarkt on the B1 on Thursday when a car drove into the parking lot. The 34-year-old passenger had been stung by a bee or wasp in the neck or face and was allergic to it, the 37-year-old driver told officials.
One of the police officers, who also works as a paramedic, pulled the woman out of the car and tried to stabilize her. But she was so bad that the officials decided to take her to the hospital in Vöcklabruck and at the same time called the rescue service. On the way to the hospital, the condition of the 34-year-old continued to deteriorate, and she briefly lost consciousness.
To give her first aid, the police took the woman out of the vehicle. By chance, an ambulance drove by, the paramedics supported the police until the emergency doctor came. Finally, the 34-year-old was taken to the hospital fully conscious.
