The 32-year-old is making a real ascent: As reported, Mair will be hired by the second team of the German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach. For the young foals, the man from Großraminger takes on the tasks of co-trainer and video analyst.

How did the contact come about? Mair: “I did the video analysis training in Germany and was recommended that way.” Now the change worked out relatively quickly: “Something like that can’t be planned, but I’ve worked towards such a step. It’s a cool, friendly club with a top environment.”

He is now supporting his outgoing club in finding a coach: “They were very happy about my step. The club and the team are stable. They will certainly find a good man.”
