A paraglider on the Höss in Hinterstoder (Kirchdorf district) experienced moments of shock on Tuesday: the 36-year-old wanted to fly down from the Hutter floor into the valley when around 3:30 p.m. part of the paraglider collapsed. The Viennese could no longer control the glider and crashed at an altitude of 1360 meters below the take-off site. After activating the so-called rescuer, the paraglider landed in a tree. There he could not free himself. The victim therefore alerted the Hinterstoder mountain rescue service, who helped him out of his predicament.
