The Cabildo Abierto senator spoke about the differences in the government regarding next year’s budget.
The senator of Open Town Hall, Guillermo Domenech, referred to the differences that arose in the coalition during the Accountabilitywhen his party decided at the last minute to vote in favor since they disagreed regarding the resources directed to the Military hospital and the salaries of army personnel.
Domenech spoke about the vote in favor by his party, which was due to a promise that they would deal with their claims in the next instance of voting in the Parliament. “See you in the Senate, we would say,” the senator told Underlined, adding that an agreement was reached to defer “the solution of this issue to the Senate”.
The senator assured that the proposals of Town meeting are related to the call “country commitment”the document signed by the parties participating in the pro-government coalition where it had been established to improve the wages of army workers. Domenech assured that “the police receive double” and the military “are the lowest paid public officials, they should be receiving about 25,000 pesos.”
Regarding the possibility that the party’s claims are not dealt with in the instance of the Senate, which will begin on Tuesday, August 22, Domenech assured that this is the position of Town meeting and that “there has to be some consideration for that commitment assumed not by us, but by the rest of the coalition.”
In this sense, Domenech highlighted that Town meeting He has another way of looking at problems, although a solution can always be found. “It is clear that the Cabildo has a vision of the problems that is different from the rest of the coalition, but almost four years of government have passed and we have always found a way to solve it,” said the senator from the council.
After approval in Deputies, it goes to the Senate
This Monday at dawn the bill of Accountability with the budget for next year’s management. After that, there is time until Friday to vote on the 442 articles, to which are added the additives of the Accountability. Of these, as confirmed by the Broad Front, the opposition will vote in favor of 57%.
From there, the bill will go to the Senate on tuesday august 22 where it will be discussed Budget Committee integrated with the Treasury where the articles will be discussed again, taking into account the claims of the Cabildo Abierto. If approved, with a maximum period of 45 days, the project would return to deputies for final approval.
