When the Forum Münzbach starts setting up its country festival, attention is paid to every detail. Horse-drawn carriages, tepees and the facades of an entire western town contribute to the fact that the Mühlviertel municipality presents itself in the style of a small town from Nevada or Arizona at its western entrance. In addition, bands who have dedicated themselves entirely to country music perform in the country hall. This year it’s the American Kim Carson with her band, the Silverado Country Band from Italy and Still Country and Frankie Fortyn from Austria.
With a lot of effort, the children’s program is staged from 5 p.m., in which the young visitors can experience an adventure from the Wild West.
For festival visitors, it pays off for several reasons to immerse themselves in the “Wild West of Münzbach” for a few hours under the motto “Go West – Go Münzbach” and simply spend a special evening.
