For a seven-year-old, a bike ride ended in the hospital on Wednesday: The boy was without a helmet in the local area on a sloping connecting road in the Rohrbach district when a serious accident occurred. He collided with a car coming from the right, driving straight ahead, steered by a 63-year-old from the Rohrbach district.
The child was responsive after the accident, but suffered such serious injuries that it had to be treated by the emergency doctor and then taken to a hospital in Linz by the “Christophorus 10” rescue helicopter, the police said in the late afternoon.
