Behind Bagnaia, South African KTM rider Brad Binder (+2.056 seconds) finished second, an excellent result for the local motorcycle manufacturer. Third place went to Spanish Ducati rider Jorge Martin (+5.045).

Martin could still get a penalty after two accidents. The second KTM factory driver Jack Miller was fifth, behind him Pol Espargaro in the GasGas factory team for KTM was able to celebrate sixth place after catching up. Honda superstar Marc Marquez crossed the finish line in tenth place. Bagnaia extended his championship lead to 46 points after his fourth sprint win in the tenth race. Last year’s winner is clearly ahead of his Ducati colleagues Martin (180) and Marco Bezzecchi (167) with 226 points. As fourth in the World Cup, Binder now has 140 points.
