Three quarters support imprisonment for “climate glue”

According to a Unique Research survey for “profil”, more than three quarters of Austrians support prison sentences against the environmental activists. 52 percent see this option as very positive, 24 percent still as positive. Only six percent rate this possibility as very negative.

According to “profil”, FPÖ voters are particularly tough, 95 percent of whom would support prison sentences for climate glue. 89 percent of ÖVP voters see the proposed law as positive, 78 percent of Neos voters and 66 percent of SPÖ voters. Only among Green voters are the supporters of prison sentences for climate glue in the minority at 36 percent.
