The senator of National Party (PN), Jorge Gandiniurged Town meeting (AC) to specify where he plans to get the money to increase the salaries of junior soldiers.

The nationalist legislator referred to the draft Accountability which was approved this Friday in the Chamber of Deputies and will treat in the Senate from this Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., and asked the partner party of the Multicolor Coalition that he detail how much it would cost the country to increase the minimum wages of the military, and that he take charge of “who will have to be removed.”

According to Gandini, the CA proposal “is a good idea”, since “the military are the furthest behind, especially junior personnel, in salary matters”, but that “the thing is that when you bring a proposal you have to say “I want this, it costs so much, and I take it out here. You can’t say, I want this, and someone else can take it out.”

“You have to take care of who I get, there is talk that there was an agreement, I am not aware of the agreement, but whoever did it must communicate, if there was, where the money will come from,” remarked the white senator.

“It does not seem good to me that in the end they summon us from the Presidency to tell us, this is yes, this is not”

Gandini pointed out that this week he will hold a meeting with the Secretary of the Presidency, Alvaro Delgado, to find out what were the last-minute agreements made with CA. “It does not seem good to me that in the end they summon us from the Presidency to tell us, this is yes, this is not,” she stressed.

In addition to this controversy over the salaries of the military, Gandini also maintained that the Senate should study the “many” changes that were made in Deputies, some of which have a cost, others will be financed, others will have to change the source of financing, since others could add new proposals.
