Serious technical deficiencies: Police checked mopeds across the country

The deployed patrol checked a total of 19 mopeds within a few hours. The number plates on five of them had to be removed on the spot due to excessive speed on the roller test stand.

There were 49 reports of technical defects in the vehicles inspected, and eight applications for a special inspection under the Motor Vehicle Act were made by the state government. A young moped driver who was completely without brake pads on the rear tire was particularly noticeable here.
