What unions do you join?

The Association of Teachers of Uruguay (Ademu) of Montevideo primary teachers resolved a 24-hour strike, in conjunction with the Soriano branch. As for the Federation, they reported that they will join the strike but that they will not stop their services. As for high school, the Association of Secondary Education Teachers (ADES) adheres to the 24-hour pair, while the National Federation of Secondary Education Teachers (Fenapes) it gave subsidiaries freedom to do what they thought necessary.

When it comes to health, the Uruguayan Health Federation (FUS) announced a partial stoppage between 8 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon in Montevideo and the Interior, although essential services will be maintained, as well as other coordinated services in different regions of the country.

As for the banks, the Uruguayan Banking Association (AEBU) reported a planned 24-hour strike where an assembly will be held at the Antel Arena with the aim of discussing the reform of the Retirement Fund and Bank Pensions.

Transportation, for its part, will not adhere to the strike since they established that they do not adhere to partial strikes. From the National Union of Workers and Transport Workers (Unott) They remarked that it is an agreement that they have with the PIT-CNT, while the Trade Union Association of Cooperatives and Transport Workers (Ascot) established that it adheres to unemployment, but it will not stop working.

What about the rain?

Last Tuesday the trade union center decided to postpone the date of the mobilization due to inclement weather. On the other hand, they summoned a Press conference for this Monday at noon with the aim of giving the corresponding information.
