“Star box”: Success in Munich

The Krenglbach company “Star box”which specializes in charging stations for e-bikes and e-mopeds, is celebrating a great success: for the real estate project “Quarter Fürstenried West” the company has set up a network of charging stations that give the 2,700 residents access to climate-friendly e-mobility.

Thanks to solar panels on the roof, the boxes not only offer a high level of security of supply, they also allow bicycles and cargo bikes to be parked safely and securely. The system is also digitized so that it can be connected to rideshare apps, for example. “The project is a milestone in the promotion of e-mobility and sustainability in urban life. It makes a valuable contribution to the energy and mobility transition”says co-founder Peter Sommer.
