Drilling and hammering is still going on, and the conversion work in the new quarters of the Linz security service on Blumauerstrasse is in full swing. The house should be ready for occupancy at the beginning of October.
420 square meters will then be available to the employees, making work processes more efficient and increasing the quality of work. A modern meeting room, a multifunctional social room that can be used as a relaxation area as well as a training location, as well as extended changing rooms will be available in the new headquarters. “This also allows us to raise our services to a new level,” says Managing Director Mario Gubesch. Like his co-managing director Helmut Haas, he is convinced that the move in October will “undoubtedly mark an exciting phase for the entire team”.
“Valuable” time savings
Due to the relocation closer to the city center in the middle of the Volksgarten district and the proximity to the transport hub of the train station, the security service for Security City Councilor Michael Raml (FP) is now easier to reach and saves valuable time on operations in the outskirts.
As reported, the search for a new headquarters for the security service had been unsuccessful for years. It was not until June that the supervisory board decided to build the new headquarters for the city’s company at Blumauerstrasse 3-5.
