professional cyclist Gregor Muehlberger won the second leg of the Deutschland Tour over 201.3 kilometers from Kassel to Winterberg on Friday.
The man from Haidershofen, driving for the Spanish Movistar team, broke away from fellow escapee Florian Stork (D) on the last climb and celebrated his third win of the season on the king’s stage, which ended below the toboggan run.
Felix Großschartner, who finished second the day before, finished 14th, ten seconds behind. In the overall standings, Marchtrenker is second behind Ilan Van Wilder (Bel).
