The finale of this year’s Raiffeisen cultural summer in the Bavarian towns of Altötting, Mühldorf and Tüßling, which is also popular with many music lovers from the Innviertel region, will be the finale this weekend.
The exceptional German violinist David Garrett will be making a guest appearance on Kapellplatz on Sunday, August 27th. 3000 visitors are expected. According to organizer Cofo, there are still tickets left for the concert.
The new album by the 42-year-old “Iconic” is inspired by legendary violinists, whose soulful melodies inspired Garrett as a child. The star violinist will present music by Bach, Dvorak, Gluck, Mendelssohn or Schumann in a new style. Garrett is accompanied by guitarist Franck van der Heijden and Rogier van Wegberg on bass.
The evening box office opens at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday, admission at Kapellplatz is from 7 p.m., the concert begins at 8 p.m. Available remaining tickets for the concert at raiffeisen-kultursommer.de
