With almost 50 successful measurements, seven violations of the legal limit values were found, said Carolin Abromeit from the BSH. The results were made available to the control authorities in all European ports together with the data from the ship in real time.

In the series of measurements, almost 98 percent of the ships had complied with the values. The drone system is provided by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
