The BCU goes out to look for ,400 million in the market with 4 tenders

He Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU) between Monday, September 28 and Friday, September 1, it will seek up to 12,500 million pesos in the market with four domestic public debt titles, with terms ranging from 35 to 763 days.

This Monday, at 2:00 p.m., the first title in pesos will be tendered for 3,800 million pesos (more than 100 million dollars at current value), with integration that same day and with a term of 35 days. Of the total, 760 million pesos will be non-competitive placements.

In turn, on Tuesday there will be a second award, also at 2:00 p.m. and for 3,800 million pesos, with integration the following day and with a term of 763 days. Non-competitive placements will also be for 760 million pesos.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday the 30th, a title will be tendered for 2,800 million pesos (more than 74,000 million dollars) with integration on the same day and with a maturity period of 84 days. A total of 560 million pesos will be considered non-competitive placements.

Finally, on Friday, September 1, the last title of the week will be awarded, for 3,000 million pesos (more than 79,000 million dollars), whose integration will be the same day and with 600,000 pesos in non-competitive placements.

This week there will be no reopening of Treasury Notes

During this week there will be no reopening of treasury notes, after the success of what was the NT Series 3 in Social Security Units (UP), which days ago had a demand for almost double what was offered and awarded more than 3,101 million pesos (about 82 million dollars).

On the day, the offer of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), that seeks to continue funding with debt instruments in pesos, was 1.2 million UP, equivalent to about 1,789 million pesos (47 million dollars), while the demand almost doubled that figure, since it was for 2,380 million UP, close to 3,548 million pesos (93 million dollars), awarding a total of 2,080 UP, equivalent to more than 3,101 million pesos.
