The prosecutor agreed to a hearing for the next few days, but she will not attend as she will retire on September 4.
The fiscal Gabriela Fossati explained why he decided to impute, for a crime of especially aggravated assault, the president of the union of the National Administration of State Sanitary Works (OSE), Frederick Kreimerman, where he assured that there was violence; the official requested a hearing, but she will not be present because she will retire on September 4.
“I came to the conviction that there had been violence on the part of a group of people led by Kreimerman with the intention of hindering an act of service of the OSE Directory“Fossati explained. On June 13, Kreimerman and a group of protesters lit a smoke bomb inside the OSE central building, while the tender for the Arazati project with the aim of hindering it.
The act was registered in the cameras and the authorities of the state company presented a criminal complaint which was referred to Fossati. In an interview with Channel 5, the prosecutor assured that there is a series of evidence against the union leader who acknowledged in a television program that he “had planted the bomb for the purpose of interrupt the act“. Among the evidence are many testimonials, 2 witnesses e “OSE technical reports on material and human risk”.
In this sense, Fossati presented the imputation against the union leader specially aggravated attack because there was participation of other people. Specifically, there were three people who acted to affect two others and where Kreimerman acted as promoter of the event. With this, the prosecutor requested a hearing for the next few days, but she will no longer be in charge of the case since confirmed his retirement for September 4.
Fossati’s retirement
In April, the prosecutor had made the request to the surrogate court prosecutor, Juan Gomez to leave the Flagrancy Prosecutor’s Office. However, he did not give her the possibility since the prosecutor was in the middle of a complaint by a lawyer for Gustavo Leal, Diego Camano, for “contumacious violation of the duties of the position”, linked to the Astesiano case.
As confirmed by Informativo Sarandí, the Minister of Education and Culture, Pablo da Silveira, resumed the prosecutor’s file – after Gómez removed her from her team again and reassigned her to another prosecutor’s office in an office near Ferdinand Roman whom denounced for gender violence – and gave him the opportunity to give up and start your retirement.
