As one advances in the age groups, the percentage of unemployed begins to decrease, since it is 5.8% among people between 30 and 34 years of age; 4.4% among those between 35 and 44 years of age; 4.2% among those between 45 and 54 years of age; 3.9% among those between 55 and 64 years of age; and 2.8% in the last group of 65 years or older.

At the country level, the activity rate stood at 63.5%, while the employment rate was 58.6%, and the unemployment was 7.8%, reaching its minimum level so far in 2023.
In the breakdown by sex, the activity rate among men was 72.4%, the employment rate 67.2%, and the unemployment of 7.2%.
As for women, the activity rate was established at 55.4%, with an employment rate of 50.7%, and one of unemployment 8.5%.
