Working for biodiversity

Do not forget sturdy shoes, gloves and work clothing

Many volunteers are needed for this. In order for the flower rarities still occurring here to be preserved and reproduced again, the area is mowed and the cuttings are then transported away. This counteracts bush encroachment on the area and thus promotes the continued existence of this valuable area. The meeting point is on the meadow below the waste collection center in Neumarkt im Mühlkreis. Sturdy shoes (possibly rubber boots), work clothes, work gloves and, if available, a pitchfork, rake and scythe are to be brought along. Julia Kropfberger accepts registrations on 0676 3674213, julia.kropfberger@naturschutzbund.at or freistadt@naturschutzbund.at.
