It was a week to forget for SV Schalchen. Between the two defeats in the league (0:4 in Gmunden and 1:4 against Munderfing) they also lost out in the cup duel against Ostermiething (0:2). Coach Robert Pessentheiner’s team will travel to Union Gschwandt on Saturday (4 p.m.). In order not to lose touch with the middle of the table early on, winning a point in the Salzkammergut is probably a must. Esternberg managed to do just that against Gschwandt last matchday. With Peuerbach, however, a strong opponent awaits the Sauwaldvioletchen on Saturday (5 p.m.). The people of Hausruckviertel have scored the most points from three games so far and recently surprised with the 4-1 win in Andorf.

The people of Andorf, on the other hand, want to recover from their second defeat of the season as quickly as possible. This should succeed in the away match against promoted Schwanenstadt, who lost twice after a win at the start – including against SPG Schärding. For Schärdinger, this complete success was the first of the current season. After a major upheaval in the summer, including a change of coach, the district capital seems to be gradually coming together. Tomorrow (7 p.m.) in Pettenbach the successful path that has been taken is to be continued.
