A Swiss gin producer says that the 100-day draft gives the alcohol a special touch. This is said to have something to do with the pressure under water and the constant temperature of four degrees. The sphere rests at a depth of about 20 meters. The manufacturer sells the approximately 260 liters of alcohol from the ball after lifting for 99 francs (a good 100 euros) for a good half liter.
Measures against theft
The company Fishgroup GmbH had already let such a gin ball into the water three times before. According to the company, it was stolen from the bottom of the lake last year. The theft report brought the company a lot of publicity in December 2022 and also called police divers into action, but they did not find the bullet. She continued to disappear without a trace, the company said on request. “Various measures are intended to protect the ball from being stolen again,” it said.
