The Wellbeing Challenge, in which employees around the world participate and bike, swim, walk or run, is held every year at JELD-WEN headquarters in the USA. The team that covers the most kilometers through sporting activities within two weeks is chosen as the winner.
This year, the Dana Doors team in Spital am Pyhrn was able to defend the title from the previous year with an average performance of around 760 kilometers per member. The sporty employees from the Pyhrn-Priel region took the first four places in the group-wide solo ranking. The Dana team donated the prize money of 2000 euros to the Rotkreuz-Mark based in Windischgarsten. “Our team has achieved great things here and has accumulated more than 7,500 kilometers by hiking, running and cycling,” says Stefan Purrer, a member of the Dana factory management and himself an active participant. His colleagues Walter Fischill, Stefan Neudeck, Hannes Schönegger, Daniel Neudeck, Kevin Ortmann, Bianka Schönegger, Marwin Flammer, Sasa Srnec and Markus Sonnleitner are happy that people in need can be helped. Goods vouchers were recently handed over to Regina Wurmhöriger from the Red Cross.
