As of this Monday, six bus lines will change their route, according to the Municipality of Montevideo (MI) through its division of Transport (Montevideo Transport).
The changes that will apply from this September 4 involve lines 62, 128, 149, 185, and 186 to little bitswhich will stop circulating on Echevarriarza street.
Instead, they will make the tour through Benito Blanco, 26 de Marzo and Luis Alberto de Herrera as reported Montevideo Transport through his X (Twitter) account.

Increased the suburban and interdepartmental ticket
The values of suburban and interdepartmental ticket They will begin the week with adjustments, after the modification defined by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP), whose details were embodied in a decree signed by the president Luis Lacalle Pou, dated August 29.
The suburban ticket of up to 8 kilometers rose from 48 to 51 pesos; for 16 kilometers from 55 to 59 pesos, while the 24-kilometer one rose from 67 to 71 pesos.
In turn, the 28-kilometer ticket rose from 71 to 76 pesos, and the ticket up to 36 kilometers had an increase from 76 to 81 pesos.
For its part, the 44-kilometer ticket increased from 84 to 90 pesos, while that of up to 52 km rose from 103 to 110 pesos. The one up to 60 km went from 113 to 120 pesos.
The increase includes the salary negotiations of the sector and includes, thus, the nominal increase of 2.8% agreed in view of the inflation projected within the collective agreement.
Likewise, the interdepartmental ticket has already experienced increases of 3.2%, on average. Meanwhile, the ticket for suburban lines will cost 6.5% more, also on average.
