A 66-year-old from the Salzburg area turned on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. in Ebensee with another cyclist from the old Ischlerstraße onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Ischl or then crossed the B145 to get onto the cycle path reach. A car driver driving behind them, a 50-year-old German, had to brake hard due to the turning maneuvers of the cyclists and activated the horn. The cyclist then insulted the driver of the car several times.

Since the 50-year-old did not want to put up with this and wanted to confront the cyclist, he turned into the bus stop area and got out of the vehicle. Since the cyclist made no move to stop, the 50-year-old grabbed the 66-year-old on the shoulder, causing him to fall.

After receiving first aid from the ÖRK, the injured person was taken to the Salzkammergut Clinic in Ischl.
