The supreme pontiff will turn 87 in December, and he spoke about his health conditions. He recently returned from a trip to Mongolia.

“I tell you the truth: for me now taking a trip is not as easy as at the beginning, there are complications to walk and this limits. But we’ll see,” said the Supreme Pontiff, when asked about the future of his official trips.

Late last year, Francisco began using cane and wheelchair due to their knee ailments. In this context, he had commented that his health it was not the same as 10 years agowhen his pontificate had begun.

He did not give details about his travel to Argentinawhich he had said he wanted to do next year, but he did talk about the possibilities of travel to vietnamanother Catholic minority with which the Holy See sealed an agreement by which it was authorized to open a permanent officestep prior to the establishment of full diplomatic relations.

On the other hand, the Pontiff confirmed that he will carry out the trip he has scheduled for September 23 to Marseilleswhere there will be a meeting of bishops from the Mediterranean. “Then there is some in a small country in europe”, he added, without mentioning the country.
