Queen Elizabeth reappeared after being absent for a month for her health

The Buckingham Palace had reported last Thursday that the monarch had the “firm intention” to participate in Sunday’s ceremony, a tribute to the victims of different wars, after having had to cancel their participation in several events in recent weeks, on recommendation from your doctors.

Images in the British media showed Queen Elizabeth receiving the British Chief of Staff Nicholas Carter without a cane in the castle hall.

She was last seen in public on October 19, when she hosted a reception for the World Investment Summit in Windsor.

“His Majesty received General Sir Nicholas Carter at Windsor Castle today,” Buckingham Palace said in a brief statement on Wednesday.

The images of the meeting show the queen standing in a flowery dress talking to the uniformed soldier, who is about to leave his post.

Previously, the monarch held another audience with Scottish Dragon Royal Guard commanders via video link, Buckingham Palace said.

The state of health of the sovereign, who has reigned for almost 70 years, is a cause for concern since her doctors recommended that she rest after spending a night in a hospital at the end of October.
