More than 500 brass musicians from various countries will be setting off a unique sound fireworks display in Rohrbach this weekend. Two concerts in the Centro and a marching music show at the sports field are on the program when the 3-country brass music festival takes place in Rohrbach-Berg from today to Sunday. Groups from Italy, Poland, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria come together and present top-class brass music sounds.
The artistic director of this music festival, Harald Haselmayr, has put together an exclusive program: It starts today at 7:30 p.m. with a “Concert of Nations” in the Centro Rohrbach-Berg, presented by the Rohrbach Böhmerwald Lions Club. You can hear the Warsaw Police Music, the Budapest Military Orchestra, the Rainer Music from Salzburg and the Passau City Band.
Tomorrow, Saturday, September 9th, from 7 p.m. at the Rohrbach sports field, the focus will be on marching music: In addition to the bands from Warsaw and Budapest, there will be the Pipes & Drums from Poland, the Bersaglieri de Lecco from Italy, the traditional music bands Oberwang and Bad Leonfelden as well as the Local music bands from Rohrbach-Berg and Arnreit took part in the “Upper Austria Tattoo”. The Senior Music Perg and the Goldhooden take part in the supporting program.
International brass music
Finally, on Sunday, September 10th, at 5 p.m., there will be a “Concert of Traditions” in the Centro, organized by the Vöcklabruck Town Music and Ladislav Kubes and his brass band Veselka from the Czech Republic.
