53-year-old Petra Reisinger is taking over the position of school director from Elfriede Süß-Peter, who led the school through an intensive year as interim director. Reisinger has been responsible for the school’s quality management since 2019. What is particularly important to her is good cooperation with students, parents and teachers. With her 30 years of professional experience as a science teacher, Reisinger wants to establish new priorities in the future.
School as a lived community
“Our school is characterized by the lively community. For me, joint, future-oriented learning is the focus,” says Reisinger. The aim is for students to acquire the skills that will enable them to have a successful life and career. Other advantages of the school include the focus on gastronomy with a state-of-the-art company kitchen, its own school restaurant, cooperation with business and universities, and good accessibility by public transport.
