A patrol was called to the drunken driver in the Maxglan district. The man tried to escape from the police on foot and wanted to jump over a fence. He knocked a police officer to the ground. One of the police officers had to leave the service because of his larynx and nose injuries, the second went to the hospital to have his knee examined. The drunk was being investigated for, among other things, causing grievous bodily harm. He was taken to the Salzburg police detention center.
At a tent party in Neukirchen am Großvenediger there was a fight between six to eight people. The situation calmed down; when trying to clarify the situation, a drunken pair of brothers insulted the executive and threatened to punch them. The stubborn duo vigorously resisted the arrest. A police officer was hit in the cheekbone with his elbow. He then had to go to the hospital for medical treatment.
