According to the Lower Austria State Police Directorate, the man was traveling on the L1123 from Korneuburg towards Tresdorf when, for reasons unknown, he left the road to the right and crashed into the corner of a house. He died from his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
The 23-year-old’s car may have rolled over after colliding with the house and came to rest on the roof. The man was trapped in the vehicle. For him any help came too late.
